Club Update September 15, 2008

Registration Night:

Our Club Registration Night is set for Friday September 26^th at the Elboya Community Centre, located at 416 Park Ave. SW. We are having our club AGM from 5:30-6:00 followed by the registration and a ski swap from 6:00-8:00. Coaches will be there to meet, greet and answer questions.

Forms for registration will be available at the Registration. If you would like to pre-register you can use our online registration https://www.zone4.ca/register.asp?id=260&lan=1&cartlevel=1. There is a small cost to use the online registration which goes to the website designer.

Please bring any ski equipment that you would like to sell. Mark the price on the equipment (with masking tape) as well as your name.

More info on the registration, in particular costs, can be found on the website: http://www.llsc.info/Registration. When looking at costs, in particular for the race programs, remember that we have included fees and racer accounts into the stated fee. There should be no hidden "surprises" when you register.

Free Rider Update

Kevin is back from his honeymoon and working hard on the programs. We will post these as soon as the programs are prepared, in particular onto the online registration. Kevin will be at the registration night as well to answer questions.

Max Bell Ski Sale:

The annual Max Bell Ski Sale is upcoming October 22-26^th. We will need volunteers for this event. The sale is typically quite social. In preparation for the event, we do require a volunteer co-ordinator. Sarah Napier and Dennis McIntyre are organizing the event, but assistance is required.
